GIRLS TAKE HOME 2ND! Our girls team fought until the end and never gave up but came up just short of the blue trophy. We are proud of every athlete on this team, and we cannot compete without each of you!

The results of all of our meets are posted under Times Results and Records. We have had a great season, filled with fun and laughter along with some really cool swimming. Jack Hoagland finished his quest for setting EVERY SINGLE La Cueva Boys swim record...YES! Every single event now has only ONE name listed for the boys. What an amazing accomplishment!
This is the end of the season for some of you. We all cannot thank you enough for a phenomenal season. Jared and Jack joined us this season and continued the fun and excitement, which we know was scattered with emotions and sadness. I hope you all come back next year.
This last week of practice is for state qualifiers only. An email was sent to each of you with specific instructions for the week. Please email if you did not receive it.

Save the date! Tuesday March 5 will be the end-of-season Swim Team Banquet. More details to follow.

Swim team pictures will take place on Tuesday, January 15 at Highland High School Pool before practice. Please wear your team shirt and arrive no later than 3:30p.
Dive team pictures will take place on Tuesday, January 15 at Sandia Pool before practice. Please wear your team shirt and arrive no later than 5pm.

Winter training will take place Monday-Friday from 9am-11am at Highland. It's a regular practice, so attendance is required unless you're traveling for the holidays. The only two days we won't be having practice are December 25th and January 1st. We are practicing with Albuquerque High School at that time, so Jimmy and I will alternate days of who is running each practice. This means that the teams will get to experience different workout and coaching styles as well as interact and socialize with another team. It's a lot of fun, and because practices are two hours, each practice provides a rigorous workout. Winter training is designed to get you in excellent shape for the second half of our season, where all of our large championship meets take place, so I hope you understand why each practice is as mandatory as always.

If you missed the Potluck dinner on Tuesday 11/6, here's what you need to know:
1-Boys: Order team suit no later than Sunday 11/11 from this website: https://lacueva.itemorder.com
2-Girls: Order team suit directly from Booster Club. The order will be placed on Monday 11/12.
3-Pay dues. You have 3 options: I can send you a link to pay by credit card, you can Venmo me directly at username @threejonesgirls or you can write a check to LC Swim and Dive, and it can given to Jared at practice. If you DO NOT want to sell the car wash tickets, then dues are $208. If you sell the 8 tickets, the dues are $160. Email Suzi Hudgens for additional car wash ticket information [email protected]
4-Bear Wear: If you want a team jacket, hoodie or something for yourself, email the order form to Jamie Jones [email protected] and include it in your total. Click for Bear Wear options The first round of orders will be placed on Monday, 11/12. I will send another round of orders on 12/3.
